Overview

Sat on the western tip of Sarawak this pristine, untouched National Park is less explored by visitors due to it's remote location. It may be one of the smallest parks in Sarawak but it's one of the most beautiful.

Tanjung Datu is home to the Bornean Gibbon, Palm Civet, the rare and elusive Flat Headed Cat, Hornbill along with the endangered Green Turtle. Hawksbill Turtle also frequents here.

 

Duration: 3 days & 2 nights;

Departs: 08:00am

Depart Kuching and drive for approximately an hour to the seaside village of Sematan. From here you will take a 2 hour boat ride to Tanjung Datu.

Your stay will consist of trekking through the various trails in search of wildlife such as hornbill, palm civet cats, the elusive flat headed cat, wild boar, Gibbons, silver leaf monkeys and much more.  

Enjoy night walks keeping an eye out for slow loris, firefly and other nocturnal creatures. Spend your free time relaxing on the white sandy beaches, swimming in the blue waters and hopefully having a visit from one of the many turtles that call these beaches their home.
